Mobilink’s whole investment inPakistanhas reached $3.9 billion so far with addition of last year spending of $393 million in 2011 on network and services.
Mobilink is Pakistan’s chief cellular and Blackberry service provider having highest subscribers’ numbers of 34 million with largest network of over 8,500 cell sites. Its’ incessant connectivity has reached to 20,000 cities, towns and villages nationwide.
The operator has witnessed supreme growth over the last few years with continuing its vision to reshape lives through connectivity, resulting in an enhancement of footprint and its voice & data network as well as the induction of cutting edge technology.
Mobilink has marked 2012 as the year it will make a paradigm shift in Pakistan’s cellular environment by elevating consumer experience to a level that is supreme within the local industry. Its’ subscribers already have access to the best cellular service in Pakistan, as a result of the operator’s continuing investment in infrastructure and coverage footprint as well as focus on developing superior customer relationships.
This was highlighted during a presentation made to the media by Rashid Khan, President & CEO Mobilink, where he spar about the achievements of Mobilink over the past year, and the cellular operator’s strategy for 2012.
Addressing the media in Lahore, he said “Our focus at Mobilink has always been to provide the best cellular service to our customers. In 2012, we will capitalize on our infrastructure investment, increased coverage and fantastic customer relationship management, to provide our valued customers with the best cellular experience in Pakistan.”
2012 promises to be another landmark year for Mobilink, following the implementation of Mobilink’s state of the art intelligent network (IN), which will enable subscribers more control and freedom over their services, and provide a consumer experience that is the best in Pakistan’s cellular environment, he added.
